PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

All LFG Run LLC event participants are required to agree to the following terms and conditions:

For and in consideration of LFG Run LLC permitting the participant to register for and participate in an LFG Run event (including but not limited to virtual races, in-person events, training runs, challenges, and related activities) (the “Event”), Participant hereby voluntarily agrees to the following:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participant understands and acknowledges that running and endurance activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Falls, slips, or trips

• Collisions with vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, or other participants

• Uneven pavement, trails, road hazards, or environmental obstacles

• Weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, rain, lightning, or wind

• Dehydration, overexertion, cardiac events, or other medical emergencies

• Equipment failure

• Any other foreseeable or unforeseeable risks associated with physical activity

Participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation in the Event.

2. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless LFG Run LLC, its owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

• Injury

• Illness

• Disability

• Death

• Property damage or loss

that may occur as a result of participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Participant understands that this is a complete release of liability and a waiver of the right to bring legal action or recover damages for any injury, loss, or death arising from participation.

3. MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY

Participant certifies that they are physically fit, adequately trained, and in proper physical condition to participate in the Event. Participant has not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

In the event of injury, Participant agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred. LFG Run LLC assumes no responsibility for medical costs, treatment, or emergency services.

4. VIRTUAL EVENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

For virtual events, Participant understands that they are solely responsible for selecting a safe course and complying with all local laws, traffic regulations, and safety practices. LFG Run LLC does not supervise or monitor virtual race locations and assumes no responsibility for the condition or safety of any route chosen by Participant.

5. REFUND POLICY

Participant understands and agrees that all race registrations are final. Once entry is received and accepted, there are no refunds, credits, transfers to another participant, or deferrals to another year or event.

6. AGE REQUIREMENT

Participant affirms that they are eighteen (18) years of age or older. If Participant is under eighteen (18), a parent or legal guardian must agree to this waiver on their behalf.

By completing registration and/or participating in an LFG Run LLC Event, Participant acknowledges that they have read this Waiver, fully understand its terms, and agree to be legally bound by it.
